Detailed Itenary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Welcome Dinner
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where you’ll be met by our safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in and some time to relax, enjoy a welcome dinner and briefing about your upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti & Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, depart Arusha and take a scenic drive (or optional flight) to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge before heading out for your first thrilling afternoon game drive. Get your cameras ready you may spot elephants, giraffes, or even the elusive leopard.
Day 3: Full-Day Migration Game Drive
Spend a full day tracking the Great Migration—witness herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains in search of greener pastures. Your guide will position you for the best views of this awe-inspiring natural event, with picnic lunch served in the bush.
Day 4: Northern Serengeti – River Crossing Viewing
Travel to the northern reaches of the park where you’ll witness the famous Mara River crossings. This is one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on Earth, as thousands of animals attempt the crossing while crocodiles lurk in the waters.
Day 5: Central Serengeti – Predator Tracking
Return to central Serengeti, a region known for high predator density. Today focuses on tracking big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they follow the migrating herds. Expect action-packed sightings and stunning photography opportunities.
Day 6: Cultural Visit & Scenic Drive
Visit a local Maasai village for an authentic cultural encounter. Learn about traditional life, customs, and community practices. After the visit, enjoy a relaxed scenic drive through different habitats of the Serengeti, with light game viewing along the way.
Day 7: Morning Game Drive & Departure
Enjoy a final early morning game drive your last chance to spot any animals you may have missed. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip or driven back to Arusha for your return journey or onward travel.
